What To Expect At Your Visit

If this is your first time coming to therapy it may feel a bit daunting knowing what to say or what to expect. Therapy is a place for personal exploration and insight where you learn about how you think, what you assume, how you feel, behave, and how your past influences your current life. For some, therapy is simply a safe place to hash things out or get someone else's perspective. When you come to therapy be prepared to talk about "what is on your mind".  Everything discussed is data that we will use to help you learn about yourself and how to make changes. Just remember, therapy is a collaborative process that you and I will navigate together, respectfully, and at your own pace.
